Game Voting Rules

Season Games
-All games will be be determined by a vote
-There will only be one vote per team, preferably posted by the GM, if the GM cannot make it in for the vote another staff member may post the vote with confirmation from the GM himself
-If there is more than one vote per team only the GM vote will count
-AFC team will only be eligable to vote on NFC games. NFC teams will only be eligable to vote on AFC games
-The reason behind this is come playoff crunch time other teams can screw over teams fighting to get into the playoffs for their own benefit.
-All teams can vote on interconference games AFC team vs NFC team.
-For example if the Browns play the Patriots, no other AFC team will be able to vote. If the Browns play the Cowboys then ALL team will be able to place a vote
-Majority votes favoring any one team is considered a victory.
-A tied outcome will be decided by one simulated game on Madden 2008 (Title varies).
-Before any game is open for voting, both teams will post a team synopsis and game plan, with the away team posting first.
-A team synopsis and game plan is mandatory.
-Team synopsis can be posted by any member of the teamâ€™s staff
-A team synopsis is a positive description of your team at its current state. (Which means, for example, in Week 4 your team is dead last on defense, but after Week 8 you're number one... etc)
-A game plan is your team's strategy against your opponent. Included with your game plan (because this is different) will be your offensive and defensive playbook.
-Your team's offensive playbook will be labeled with one of the following choices: "Balance," "Balance Run," "Run Heavy," "Pass Balance," "Run 'N' Gun," and "West Coast."
-Your team's defensive playbook will be labeled with one of the following choices: "4-3," "3-4," "46," and "Tampa 2."
-When you vote on a game(s), please make sure you provide a heavy reason for your decision.
-Please use statistical and historical facts when proving your point.
-If you plan to vote for an upset, make sure it's a lengthy description of why. Please include anything from crowd noise, weather conditions, and/or lousy officiating (these are examples). Be creative, but stay within the box.
-For the new teams, please get used to the idea that unknown or unpopular NFL players might be superstars in the VNFL. The VNFL is its on entity and will be treated like so.
-Edited votes are allowed until the last vote is posted. Any attempt to edit your vote after the last vote to sway another team from winning will result in an automatic loss on your game from that week.
-Every game will hopefully be simulated on Sunday (we can take longer if needed)
-Failure to vote in all games in a timely manner (We have one week to post synopsis and vote until each game on Sunday) will result in 1. a warning 2. A second strike 3. an automatic loss for your own game. If you plan to be absent, there is a Personal Announcement forum to post it in so that we are all aware.
-In this time of age where technology is king, there shouldn't be a reason that you can't get on the internet for a quick minute to log onto this site, check what's new, make the necessary posts, to keep the site going. I should not hold everyone's hand and say "Hey, you need to vote" or "Hey, you need to post your synopsis" or "Hey, you need to update your _______" And if I we have to continue to remind you of these things, then either you don't have any actual interest in this site, or... wait, that should be the only reason... then tell me, so I can replace you.
